To start using IMAP Backup & Restore tool, you will need to download and install it on your Windows system.
Steps to backup emails from IMAP Server
- Open the tool and select IMAP Backup option.
- After that, enter your account details from which emails to be exported.
- Now, select the specific folder or check all to backup.
- Now, select the option output format to export emails in suitable format.
- To save only attachments select the extract only attachments option.
- Next, provide the output location to save the email backup files and press "Backup Now" to start the process.
Steps to restore email files into IMAP Server
- Open the tool and select file format to restore or upload.
- After that, select single or multiple PST files or folder of PST files.
- Now, browse the PST files with browse button and load PST file.
- Now, authenticate the imap account in which you want to upload the emails.
- To upload the email file choose folder or create new folder to save them.
- After the click on start uploading to begin the restore process.
- After the backup done you can export log of the backup process.
